Here's some updates with me and my dad (he's been battling cancer again and been in the hospital).

Firstly, thank you to everyone who donated to help me keep afloat while he's in the hospital, my second job has been withholding my first paycheck for a month (1 month on Friday) because I got hired in the middle of a pay period. After Friday, I get paid every 2 weeks and I should be fine. I'm working two jobs so I shouldn't be struggling and I can't wait until my broke struggling days are over.

Secondly, the surgery went well, they had to remove 20% (1/5th) of his only kidney left (he lost his other to his last cancer surgery around 5 years ago), but they think it may function well enough for him to be able to keep it, hopefully. He should be released in the next couple of days to a rehab center to continue his recovery and I'll be helping him by going food shopping for him like the last time he was in surgery.

It's been hard to see him in so much pain, but he's recovering. I know his cancer will keep coming back as it has been, past 5 years he's mostly been doing good, but I've accepted he might not be around in 5 to 10 more years. I'll make these years the most with him. I just hope he gets to see me get married whenever the right woman comes along. I love my dad very much.
